This lesson teaches us to not discriminate, as it makes people feel bad about themselves. Another lesson we learn is to not judge people before you get to know them. Harry hated Professor Snape because Professor Snape would always criticize Harry. However, in the end, it turned out that Professor Snape was always on Harry’s side. 

The writing in Harry Potter is also extremely descriptive, painting an immaculate picture in the minds of each reader. When I read the series, it felt so real that I was almost stressed out for the characters and empathized with their feelings.
