Freelance Editorial Illustrator Wanted
Are you studying or a recent grad from an illustration program at a community college and looking to showcase your work? We are seeking illustrators/artists to create engaging, visually appealing images to represent our blog posts. You will receive full credit for your illustration including a link to your website or instagram.
Your role and responsibility are to:
- Read the blog post and brainstorm with our editorial assistant to come up with image ideas
- Provide a thumbnail sketch before finalizing the illustration concept
- Create beautiful drawings/illustrations from descriptions and details given in blog posts
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Must have the ability to create original digital images
- Knowledge of image editing and design software
- Strong conceptual and artistic skills
- Must be able to draft illustrations from the written word
- Must be willing to collaborate with team members
- Interested volunteers must have their own access to illustration software
